Thessaloniki is one of the largest and most well-known Greek cities in the North. The beaches here are located on the Aegean Sea. Thessaloniki beaches are acclaimed for their large size, friendly restaurants, and lively beach activities. Snorkeling and scuba diving is popular here due to the exceptionally clear waters.

Other than Thessaloniki beaches, the city is famous for its rich heritage, gourmet cuisine, and unique landmarks. Sites worth seeing include the Old City (Ana Poli), traditional Churches, and archaeological sites with ancient ruins.

It is in a great location opposite taverns, cafés, and stores which is convenient for a quick snack or topping up your sunscreen. The beach is also surrounded by hotels, and next to a parking and bus stop.

This accessibility and proximity to amenities is the main reason it is so popular, especially with families. Here, the sea is warm and clear, and there are many varieties of fish to spot.

Grand Agia Triada is a family-friendly beachfront hotel with a children’s playground and free parking. There are both rooms and apartments available.
